What was originally a 3 day trip turned into a 9 day long trip because I somehow lost my passport.
The first day started off with a fun trip at Gardens By The Bay and the waterfall. As well as a lovely stroll around the marina.
On the second day, we explored Sentosa looking for a new place for my sister to live. Sentosa is a beautiful island connected by bridge that had many nice places to stay and see. When we went back to the condo we went out for dinner at a rooftop restaurant with an even better view of the Marina Bay than the condo had.
The 3rd day was when I was supposed to return to Thailand, Upon arriving at the airport I couldn't find my passport anywhere. So for the next few days, I had to report it to the police, go to the Thai Embassy twice to get a temporary pass to get back to Thailand.
It wasn't so bad though as during the extra days I was there my sister took me to the Singapore Zoo, the Bird Zoo, and the Night Safari. Also, later on we visited Sentosa again where we had a wonderful day at W Hotel with an amazing brunch buffet and the rest of the day by the pool.
The return journey had my going with my sister this time to make things a little easier, because I was using a temporary passport the process took much longer than it normally would. Also upon arrival at the Don Meung Airport in Bangkok the process to exit also took a lot longer than normal. For future notice it's strongly recommended to NOT lose your passport when abroad. -- Pete
