This day was when we rode from Pai to Chiang Mai using the shortest route, following the 1095 highway. Some beautiful views along the way, but not really my preferred route to get to Chiang Mai from Pai. The resort in Chiang Mai was by the river and was nice and relaxing. We stayed here for 2 nights to recharge energy for the return trip to Bangkok. -- Pete
