A 4 night trip starting in Nan then Chiang Rai, and then Chiang Mai for 2 nights.
The 1st day had Mitch and I (No Jo due to his broken arm) meeting on the outskirts of Pitsanulok where we then rode to Nan where we spent the first night.
The 2nd day we headed to Chiang Rai going through some of the most beautiful roads we ever been through and stayed at Le Meridian. Beautiful hotel with 3 pools, huge garden, and near the river.
The 3rd day we headed to Chiang Mai where we spent the first night at U Nimman Chiang Mai which had modern but small rooms but a nice pool with excellent views and an amazing breakfast buffet.
The 4th day in the morning i headed up to the top of Doi Suthep for a bit of twisty riding and when i got back we decided to go to a different hotel for the 4th night. We ended up moving to Dusit D2 which had great views from the rooms and a good breakfast.
On the 5th day we headed back to Bangkok taking a different route than we typically do which ended up taking about 8 hours of riding. -- Pete
