Our first time out on the yacht, we stayed the night at the marina as we planned to only go out for a day trip to the nearby island. Sadly tragedy struck when the belt to one of the engines snapped. Using the second engine we headed back to the marina at a snail's pace.
On the second day, I decided to make the best of the trip and headed to the navy base to see the navy ships and Thailand's only aircraft carrier. It was interesting seeing such huge ships even compared to the superyachts at the Marina. The aircraft carrier was free to enter but sadly couldn't get my bike to a place that i could take a photo of them both. After that I headed back to the Marina where we then headed back to Bangkok. -- Pete
